I believe we should take a step back and reflect, particularly on the current state of working in tech. For many years, during the period of easy money, we saw numerous tech initiatives, most of which have now disappeared. Back then, conditions were great, and there was little need to show ROI—just saying you were working in tech was enough to attract substantial investment. Now, the market has tightened, and funding is no longer so easily available, so more is expected from the tech sector. I think this is a good thing. Although it's less comfortable than before, it drives engineers to be more creative, technical, focused, and relevant. If you love challenges and building high-quality products, this environment will push you to continue delivering great work, and your value will keep growing.
